I live in Santa Fe surrounded by several Indian reservations. During their feast days, the Indians perform dances which are colorful and symbolic. I can remember many times waiting outside in the cold weather until they were ready to dance. There is no set time.
In Gallup each year the Navajo Indians gather for their pow wows. Several years ago I attended. What a fabulous opportunity to see the dances and the parade.
