This painting is a study of reflections of the bowls and fruit. The grapes were the hardest to do because I wanted to make them feel almost transparent. I love how the grapes are hanging over the side of the bronze bowl reflecting onto the silver bowl.
Had to put peaches in the bowl because they are my favorite fruit. We have over ten varieties of peaches (including albertas and red havens) growing on our property here in Santa Fe. I like the alberta peaches best.
